About me
Hey! My name is Theron Tartsah Osceola. I’m Seminole and Kiowa artist and photography hobbyist based in Hollywood, Florida. I specialize in acrylic paintings and Digital illustrations inspired by my Seminole and Kiowa culture and heritage
A lot of my work focuses on taking traditional Seminole imagery, stories, and designs and find new and contemporary ways to put them together. I want my art to show that Seminole culture is living, breathing, and constantly evolving with us today. While many of the iconic Seminole artists that people recognize are no longer here, I hope to help shape a new generation of Seminole artists.
Some of my work is also deeply inspired by the older Indigenous cultures of the Southeast that existed before the Seminole people formed, especially the Mississippian cultures and the Calusa. Both of which the Seminole descend from. Through my art, I try to connect those ancient roots to modern Seminole culture and identity. I’m also Kiowa, and I’m still learning more about the artistic traditions and history of that side of my family as I grow as an artist.

In my free time, which is all the time pretty much, I like studying ancient and pre-columbian history of the Americas
I got into BMX this past year and like to go to the skatepark
I like playing the piano, specifically classical music. My favorite piece to play right now is Arabesque no. 1 by Claude DeBussy.
I love playing overwatch, my main is Pharah and sometimes I play Juno.
I also love traveling and i’ve been out of the country a couple times, both to Spain. I want to travel the US more, i’ve been to New Mexico many times and Grew up visiting my family in Oklahoma.
